We love mud; Decoy, Newton Abbot - April 2012
Simon Cunningham, the Decoy senior ranger (Teignbridge Council) lead a 2 hour walk though areas of Decoy not generally accessible to the general public. The footage was taken using a small bridge camera, and so is slightly shaky at times. Going down a leat in your boots, though the mud - NO BEARS for those familiar with the book 'going on a bear hunt'.

The Big Tidy Up tackles the River Teign (30th Sept 11)
Members of Teignbridge staff, Cllr Kevin Lake and members of the public took part in a litter pick along parts of the River Teign & River Lemon near Town Quay in Newton Abbot. It was no ordinary event, with pickers even taking to the water in kayaks to get at those hard to reach areas.

Her Royal Highness Princess Anne visits Old Forde House
Her Royal Highness Princess Anne visits Old Forde House in Newton Abbot to celebrate the Grade-I listed building's 400th anniversary. She was met by Teignbridge Council Chairman Cllr Stephen Pursur, who introduced Her Royal Highness to many council staff, customers and partners from around Teignbridge.

Victorian & Edwardian day at Teignmouth
Teignbridge Council supported by a heritage lottery grant put on a day event at Teignmouth, Devon attended by school children from the area; it offered various activities that were common in to the Victorian and Edwardian period. Many of the schools attended dressed by in clothes that were similar to the clothing of that period in history. It included 'music hall', 'circus skills', 'punch & judy' and various other activities.

This shows a class with the Dawlish Divas, a group of ladies who attend a contemporary dance session at Dawlish town hall, formed as part of Teignbridge Council and Dance in Devon's popular 'Dance This Way' scheme.
