Tidy Teignbridge tackles customers' concerns
Teignbridge Council's 'Tidy Teignbridge' anti-litter campaign is preparing to tackle three specific areas of concern raised by members of the public - fast food rubbish, dog mess and small scale litter, such as cigarette butts and gum.
In a survey of over 300 local people these issues were cited as their most important litter related concerns, and Teignbridge Council is responding with three months of targeted cleaning, advertising and incentives, and tough enforcement action against litter louts.
