Disabled Parking and Blue Badges

Information on obtaining a Blue Badge and Residents Blue Badge Holder Parking Permit

Off Street

There are wide bays provided in all car parks throughout the district for drivers with mobility problems. Where charges are in place in a car park, our current policy is that all Blue Badge Holders must pay the required tariff set as per the details within the car park unless they are the holder of the Residents Blue Badge Holders Parking Permit issued by Teignbridge District Council.

The above permit can be purchased at a cost of £12.00 per annum (pro rata) or £30.00 for a 3 year permit (pro rata).  The applicant must be a permanent resident of the Teignbridge District, be the holder of a Blue Badge and meet one of a set of criteria. This allows the user to park in most car parks within the District without further payment. For further information and details of the criteria please see the information pack link displayed on this page.

Please see Pay for disabled parking permits to pay for a permit.
