Teignbridge Green Spaces Strategy (December 2009)
Teignbridge has a 20 year Green Space Strategy for the protection and enhancement of its parks and open spaces
Public consultation in October and November 2009 helped to shape this strategy.
On 11th January 2009, the Executive Meeting formally approved the Green Spaces Strategy (December 2009); "As a technical document to be considered in the determination of development proposals and as a guide for the future planning of green space provision in Teignbridge".
Teignbridge has over 665 hectares of green space across the District; this includes formal parks, play areas, playing pitches, informal green spaces, country parks and nature reserves.
