Teignbridge Business Forum
A great opportunity to hear from knowledgeable business speakers and network with other local businesses.
The next Teignbridge Business Forum is scheduled for Wednesday 11th July at 6pm. This will again be held at Old Forde House and will feature a range of different speakers from different business sectors. We are currently making arrangements for this event but for information on future forums please email us.
At our first Business Forum of 2012 we received presentations on: Doing Business with the Council, Benefits of Health in the workplace and Keeping Safe. The forum was well received by the businesses who attended. At the forum we launched our 60 second sales pitch, for businesses to 'sell' their business to the forum and invited suggestions for speakers to future events.
There are over 6000 businesses in Teignbridge, all of which contribute to the local economy in one way or another. With the Business Forum, the council aims to create an environment where businesses can share their issues, discuss how to boost the local economy, and develop new working partnerships to help improve business. In addition to this the Forum will provide an excellent opportunity for businesses of all sizes to meet with local business leaders and council representatives.

The business forum is part of a strategy at Teignbridge District Council to engage with the district's business community, a move which has also seen the Council send out email newsletters, launch an online questionnaire and start using twitter.
The short questionnaire can be completed by clicking the offsite link on the right and gives businesses who were not at the events an opportunity to make their voice heard.
