Spring Programme 2014
Unless otherwise stated, all meetings will take place in the Teign Heritage Centre, French Street, Teignmouth starting at 7 pm. The members fee for Friday attendance is £1 and £3 for non members.
Friday 7 February: Jennifer Johnson
Jennifer will demonstrate animal studies in pastels, and has promised not to do 'cats'. She comes from Modbury. www.jenniferjohnsonartist.co.uk
Friday 21 February: Cherry Lyons
Cherry is an avid sketcher and likes nothing more than translating her sketches into pictures. Her demonstration is called ' From Sketchbook to Studio'. She works in vibrant watercolour , is a member of Devon Artist Network and was exhibiting at the Harbour House Kingsbridge last summer. Her painting can be found on Yahoo.
Friday 7 March: Neil Mawdsley
Neil is a past president of Plymouth Art Society and has lived in Plymouth for the past 30 years. He is going to reveal why he became an artist, followed by a demonstration of his most successful picture. www.mawdsley.co.uk
Friday 28 March: Susan Gray
Susan became a full time artist in 2004. She enjoys seascapes in acrylics and paints mainly outdoors where the challenge is to paint quickly due to the changing light. She sometimes paints with a palette knife and brushes. www.susan-gray.co.uk
Saturday 29 March: Workshop
Susan Gray will be leading the workshop at the Holcombe Village Hall. Bring along your acrylics and palette knifeas well as your brushes. The session runs from 10 am to 4 pm and costs £15.
Bring your lunch although The Castle Pub is just over the road. Book in advance before the 20 March.

Friday 2 May: AGM
7pm - 9pm. Teignmouth Heritage Centre.
