Plan Teignbridge - The Draft Core Strategy
The consultation period to comment on the Teignbridge 20 year plan has now ended. The comments received will be considered by planning officers and councillors and then a new version of the plan will be published for further consultation this summer. After a public hearing with an Independent Planning Inspector the plan will be finalised in early 2013.
Every area needs a plan for the future that helps to provide the jobs, facilities and homes that local people need, along with a good quality environment. We have been working closely with local people, community groups and other organisations to create the draft Core Strategy - a plan for the next 20 years which will help protect what's good while aiming to provide a job for every working age person in the district and the homes we need.
