Crime, Anti-social Behaviour and Community Safety
What is being done to reduce crime and disorder and anti-social behaviour in Teignbridge?
The South Devon and Dartmoor Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership is made up of statutory and voluntary organisations working together to reduce crime and disorder in South Hams, Teignbridge and West Devon with the following priorities to reduce:-
- Anti-social behaviour
- Alcohol abuse
- Fear of crime
- Speeding traffic (anti-social driving)
The Partnership has agreed a Local Delivery Plan which sets out what action is being taken to address the CDRP priorities.
The Partnership is keen to ensure that the public are aware of how crime and disorder is being addressed within the three districts, although crime is extremely low in these areas. The latest newsletter gives information about the Partnership and projects that are taking place to address the priorities listed above
