Collection Days

Please put your bin/boxes out by 7am on the day of collection only! Please note that the refuse crews do not collect side refuse and there are two separate crews that come round on your recycling collection day (one for your green wheelie bin a separate crew for your recycling boxes). We will collect your bin/boxes from the kerbside, please ensure they are moved back onto your property after collection. If you have side waste (household waste that will not fit in your black bin), please call the Teignbridge District Council Call Centre on 01626 215 838.

In 2008/09 Teignbridge residents recycled over 57% of household waste, placing us 6th nationally in terms of recycling performance. We also had the 2nd lowest amount of waste being sent to landfill per household in Devon at just 372 Kg per year and benefited from the lowest collection costs in Devon at just £44 per household per year.
