Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit
Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit are National Welfare Benefits implemented by Local Authorities. Housing Benefit is to help those who are on a low income or unemployed to pay their rent. Council Tax Benefit is to assist those, as with Housing Benefit, with their Council Tax. You can, of course, apply for both.
