Normal Opening Times
The Main Hall which is open from 8 am - 5 pm and includes a Food Hall open from 9am - 5pm, Monday to Saturday and offers a wealth of choice whether it's a gift or fresh fruit and vegetables you need.
The Outdoor Market operates in the Market Square and Courtenay Street Wednesday and Saturday from 8am - 4pm
The Farmers' Market is in Courtenay Street every Tuesday and Friday from 9 am - 3 pm
Trash & Treasure Sales are held in the Market Square every Friday 8 am - 4 pm
Livestock Auctions are held in the Cattle Market area every Wednesday and there are also Poultry Sales every second Saturday from March until the end of October. For further details contact Rendells in the off site links section.
Car Boot Sales are held on various Sundays (see Car Boot Sales page for dates) either in the Cattle Market Car Park, or on rainy days the whole of the Multi-storey Car Park is available from 6am - 1pm
Although the Market Hall is open from 8am - 5pm, the main hall traders are only obliged to operate from 9am - 4pm. Some traders will operate beyond these hours.
