Disabled Parking and Blue Badges

Information on obtaining a Blue Badge and Residents Blue Badge Holder Parking Permit

Off Street

There are wide bays provided in all car parks throughout the district for drivers with mobility problems. Where charges are in place in a car park, our current policy is that all Blue Badge Holders must pay the required tariff  for that car park unless they are the holder of a valid Teignbridge District Council Parking Permit.

The above permit can be purchased at a cost of £12.00 for 1 year or £30.00 for 3 years.  The applicant must be a permanent resident of the Teignbridge District, be the holder of a Blue Badge and meet one certain criteria. This allows the user to park in most car parks within the District without further payment. For further information and details of the criteria please see the information pack link displayed on this page.

Please see Pay for disabled parking permits to pay for a permit.
