1. About the Rural Transport and Connectivity Fund

The Rural Transport and Connectivity Fund is funded the UK Government through the Rural England prosperity Fund. 

The competitive grant scheme is awarding between £10,000 and £75,000 to quality capital community led projects that will create and enhance better access to services, jobs and tourism opportunities in Teignbridge's rural areas. 

All proposal's that meet the guidance will be considered. Example projects include but are not limited to improvement to walking and cycling routes, EV charging points, investments that will facilitate expansion of community transport networks, signage and interpretation along existing routes.

Applicants are encouraged to read the guidance before applying. 

Applications will open in September 2024.
