1. Apologies for absence.

2. Minutes of meeting of the Committee held on 25 April 2016.

3. Agreement of the agenda between Parts I and II.

4. Declarations of interest.

5. Matters of urgency or report especially brought forward with the permission of the Chairman.

6. Call-in – to consider any call-ins.

7. Schools Council – presentation. In January 2016 the Leader provided a presentation to students on the new Strategic Plan. The children were given the opportunity to select from the Plan an item they wished to discuss in detail. They chose the topic of how to discourage smoking, drugs and alcohol abuse. The Schools Council have met with their peers and worked up a presentation to bring back to Members. The Committee is asked to consider how the Council might take this forward.

8. National Farmers Union – presentation on the changes within the farming sector.

9. Development of a new Joint Homelessness Strategy. The Committee is invited to endorse the draft Strategy.

10. Executive Forward Plan – to note the contents of Forward Plan and to raise any items for inclusion on the Committee’s Work Programme.
