Brexit

We are working closely with all our local partners to prepare for Brexit and to help everyone who lives and works in Teignbridge with the situation, whatever the final outcome.

Our primary goal is to help and support for the most vulnerable people and families in our communities, and to minimise disruption for residents and businesses caused by the impact of Brexit, and particularly a no-deal scenario, and we have strong and effective contingency plans in place to ensure this does not happen.

We will support local people, businesses and communities to prepare for any issues that arise because of Brexit, and will try to identify and maximise potential opportunities.

We will continue to work with the Government to help develop and deliver their national contingency arrangements and to share local issues and concerns.
