Business Continuity

The Emergency Planning team is also responsible for providing advice on Business Continuity to the local business community and local voluntary organisations.

What is Business Continuity?

This is defined as the capability of an organisation to continue to deliver its products or services at acceptable levels following a disruptive incident. Therefore having a Business Continuity plan is about identifying critical processes, then planning, preparing and protecting the business so that it can survive or recover as quickly as possible with the minimum of disruption.
