The Community Safety service ensures that the Council meets its statutory responsibilities under the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 through promoting community safety and reducing the fear of crime in the district. The Community Safety service take a coordinating role in working with partner agencies to develop, implement and monitor community safety strategies and plans and to support and advise Elected Members and other key services.

This notice, in conjunction with our overarching privacy policy, explains when as a service we collect personal information, what we use your data for, who has access, who we share it with and what your rights are.
