Support for the extremely vulnerable

This Government guidance is for people, including children, who are at very high risk of severe illness from coronavirus (COVID-19) because of an underlying health condition, and for their family, friends and carers.  This includes the extremely clinically vulnerable people living in long-term care facilities, either for the elderly or persons with special needs.

Getting coronavirus support as an extremely vulnerable person

If you have a medical condition which makes you extremely vulnerable to coronavirus (COVID-19), you should register to tell the Government whether or not you need support.

You may have received a letter from the NHS telling you that you’re clinically extremely vulnerable, or been contacted by your GP or hospital clinician. If this has not happened, contact your GP or clinician after you register.
