3. The Customer Reading Group
We want to ensure that all of our customers can access council information as quickly and easily as possible. To do this, we need to take into account the many different needs of our customers and how we communicate with them.
The reading group is made up of volunteer customers who look at our information and communications, such as letters, leaflets, forms, and web pages, to ensure that they are easy to read and understand.
How does it work?
We will contact you either by post or email to ask you to review draft documents, and give your ideas and suggestions for improvement – this can involve spelling and grammar, length and layout, or even the tone of the message – anything that makes the message unclear or difficult to read.
