We need to protect the public money that we administer and we may share information with other organisations responsible for auditing public funds, in order to prevent and detect fraud.

We participate in the Cabinet Office National Fraud Initiative.  The Cabinet Office conducts this data matching exercise under its statutory powers in the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014.
