Dawlish Town Council by-election

A by-election will be held on Thursday 20 January 2022 to fill a vacancy on Dawlish Town Council for the South West ward.

If you wish to stand as a candidate at this election you will need to submit a completed nomination to the Returning Officer between Monday 13 December and Monday 20 December during the hours of 10am and 4pm (Mon-Fri). We can send you a nomination pack either by email or by post. If you would like us to send you a pack please email stating your name and the email address or postal address you wish us to send it to. You can also request a nomination pack by calling 01616 215104.

Certain election papers cannot be sent through the post and must be delivered in person by the candidate, or by someone they trust, to the Returning Officer at Forde House, Brunel Road, Newton Abbot TQ12 4XX. Our offices are now operating an appointments only system, please make sure you book an appointment before you come. This will save you time and help to make sure your visit to our offices is dealt with in a Covid-secure way, ensuring both your safety and the safety of our staff and other visitors.   • 1a Nomination paper
  • 1b Home address form
  • 1c Candidate’s consent to nomination (all 4 pages to include printed legislation)

The following papers can be delivered by hand or by post:

  • 2 Certificate of authorisation
  • 3 Request for a party emblem
