4. Postal voting
If you are registered to vote and cannot vote at your polling station, you can apply for a postal vote.
You can return your completed application by email by sending a copy of the completed form to firstname.lastname@example.org - it must be completed in pen.
You can apply for a postal vote up to 11 working days before an election.
Postal ballot packs will be sent to electors in advance of an election (usually 8 working days before polling day) and, upon the return of the completed ballot paper, the vote will be included with those cast at polling stations.
Remember - if you have a postal vote you won't be able to vote at the polling station, even if you do not use your postal vote.
