Who is this qualification for

The CIEH (Chartered Institute of Environmental Health) Foundation Certificate in Food Safety is suitable for food handlers working in catering.

The course provides essential knowledge and understanding of good food hygiene practice for anyone who prepares open, high risk foods.

The Foundation Certificate is equivalent to the Level 2 qualification.

Duration: 1 day course

Venue: Teignbridge District Council, Newton Abbot, TQ12 4XX

Schedule: 9.30am to 5pm (lunch is not provided)

Cost: £60

Exam: multiple choice

Examination

The course ends with a short multiple choice exam. A verbal exam is available - please advise at the time of booking.

You will receive a certificate via email when you pass the exam.
