Garden waste collection service

We offer an optional garden waste collection service for residents who want us to collect their garden waste.

Garden Waste Collection service logo

The garden waste collection service costs £35 per year per bin for the subscription period which runs from 1 September to 31 August each year.

If you are in receipt of housing benefit or income related council tax benefit you will pay a concessionary fee of £30 per year per bin.

You can have up to three bins collected from your property.  Each additional bin will be charged at a cost of £35 per year. Concessions will apply on additional bins

You can join the service at any time during the subscription period but you will still be required to pay the full amount for your collection.

Renew your garden waste collection

Renewals take 3 days to process.  We are not able to return to collect bins that were not renewed in time.

Renew Button

You will need a garden waste reference number which can be found on your renewal notice. If you haven't received a reminder please email gardenwaste@teignbridge.gov.uk.

Please be advised that we are not reissuing permits this year.  The crews use incab technology and know which properties have a current subscription.
