Young Devon will take your homeless application on our behalf. They will issue you a Personalised Housing Plan to help prevent you becoming homeless or to help you secure accommodation if you are already homeless. Young Devon will work closely with us, your Personal Advisor and other agencies to try and find you suitable housing.

You will automatically be classed as a priority need until your 21st birthday as a care leaver.

We aim to never place you in a bed and breakfast but in some situations this might happen. If this does happen then it will be for the shortest time possible whilst we find you suitable accommodation. If you have become homeless, this may be because you need further support to help you manage independent living. So we may look to offer you a further placement in supported accommodation until you are ready to live independently.
