Energy Partnerships

Show all parts of this guide

1. Local Energy Advice Partnership

We work in partnership with AgilityEco, and eligible residents can contact the Local Energy Advice Partnership (LEAP) to request a free home energy advice visit. A home energy advisor can:

  • install free simple energy saving measures such as LED light bulbs and draught-proofing
  • check if you’re on the best energy tariff
  • help you find funding for further energy-saving home improvements.

The eligibility requirements of LEAP are designed to target households that either are already in, or are at risk of falling into fuel poverty. It is open to all types of householders – homeowners, private renters and social housing tenants.

LEAP Appliances

Access to LEAP’s appliance scheme is only available after you have had a LEAP Energy Advice Service appointment, during which eligibility and suitability for appliance replacements will be established. LEAP Appliances is an initiative to support fuel poor and vulnerable households through the replacement of old, inefficient fridges, freezers, fridge-freezers, washing machines, and cookers with modern, efficient alternatives. LEAP is working with C Supplies to deliver these appliances.

Please note: LEAP appliances is a replacement scheme. Applicants must have an appliance to replace. Further information is available from LEAP (applyforleap.org.uk)

You can apply now, for you or somebody else by visiting LEAP - The energy and money saving service or phoning (FREE) 0800 060 7567.
