10. How to submit a review
You must submit your review to the Housing Needs Lead within 21 days of the decision letter. Your review can be submitted to the Housing Options Team, Forde House, Newton Abbot, TQ12 4XX or via email to email@example.com. Unless there are exceptional circumstances, reviews outside of the 21 day period will not be considered.
You should ideally explain why you feel the decision made is incorrect and submit any additional supporting evidence you may have. If you do not provide additional evidence or information in the request for a review you will be given a reasonable period to submit this.
The review decision will be made on a point of law by a Senior Officer, if the original decision maker has not made an error in law then the original decision will stand.
There are solicitors and legal advisors who may be able to support you in submitting a review. Alternatively you can seek assistance from a friend/family member or support worker. You will need to provide signed consent for us to liaise with your representative if you chose to use a third party.
