3. Alcohol misuse

If you are regularly drinking more than 14 units of alcohol a week you may have an alcohol misuse issue. Cutting back on alcohol can improve your mental and physical wellbeing. It can also improve your finances and budgeting if you are spending excessively on alcohol.

It is important to reduce your alcohol use safely. For more information on alcohol misuse and to take a test to see if you may have alcohol issues, please visit the Together drug and alcohol service website. You can call them for advice or to make appointment on 0800 233 5444.

You can also contact Devon Alcoholics Anonymous who offer self-help style groups. You can access these support groups local to most areas in Teignbridge. They provide a list of all the meetings taking place.
