Apply for a review of a licence
If you are having problems with a licensed premises, you should first try to sort out the problem informally with the licence holder.
If this is not successful you will need to build your case. You should keep a diary of incidents such as noise or anti social behaviour etc which can serve as evidence.
Applying for a review
Representations must be based around one or more of the four licensing objectives. These are:
- the prevention of crime and disorder
- public safety
- the prevention of public nuisance
- the protection of children from harm
Representations will be refused if they are deemed to be frivolous, vexatious or repetitious.
To start the review procedure you must submit the correct form to us and, on the same day, give a copy to the premises licence holder/club premises certificate holder and to each Responsible Authority.
