1. About animal boarding licence

To run a boarding kennel or cattery, you will need a licence from us.

The number of dogs and cats that can be accommodated at your premises will be specified on the licence along with conditions.

Boarding in the home

This is a similar licence to an animal boarding licence, but the animals must stay within the licence holder's home at all times, unless being exercised or taken to a veterinary surgery.  The number of animals allowed to be at the premises is restricted to no more than six at any given time. The correct fee for this type of licence is the minimum amount payable.
