What is the total value of the S106 agreements made in the year? [3(a)]

£966,149 is the total of signed S106 this year, of which £104,540 is for Devon County Council

What is the total value of S106 payments received in the year?  [3(b)]

£1,799,433 has been received from S106 this year 

What is the total value of the S106 agreements made in previous years, which has not yet been identified for a specific projects?  [3(c)]

£4,029,110 has not yet been committed to a specific project

It is not unusual to collect monies from multiple developments so that a strategic item of infrastructure can be funded.  In some cases, money will also be held whilst the detail of an infrastructure project is being finalised. The actual amount allocated but not spent is £1,371,076

How many affordable homes have been secured through S106 planning obligations this year? [3(d)(i)]

Devon County Council is the Education Authority and responsible for providing education infrastructure. Since 2014 Teignbridge has contributed £1.25 million towards education infrastructure through CIL

  • £667,266 Chudleigh Shared Equity Scheme (a scheme to help people with affordable housing)
  • £136,228 Newton Abbot Leisure Centre Gym Equipment
  • £65,000 land to create habitat for Cirl Buntings (rare birds)
  • £26,641 provision for Ogwell play area
  • £81,000 for refurbishment of Decoy play area

Nil 

What is the total amount of S106 funds spent on monitoring?  [3(h)(iii)]

A very small amount of the money collected from S106 is currently spent on monitoring by Planning and Finance Officers. Monitoring fees were not allowed until recently. Monitoring fees collected are expected to increase over the next year and we are investing in our databases to improve our information, the amount is therefore expected to increase in the future
