Houghton Barton has 160 hectares of land allocated in the Local Plan for high quality mixed use development, including at least 1,800 new homes, employment uses, social and community facilities, green infrastructure and a vehicular route connecting the A382 Bovey Tracey Road and A383 Ashburton Road.
