1. Teignmouth Neighbourhood Plan - Referendum Result

The Teignmouth Neighbourhood Plan Referendum took place on Thursday 2 May 2024. Voters were asked the question:

“Do you want Teignbridge District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Teignmouth Parish to help it decide planning applications in the Neighbourhood Area?”

79.9% of people voted YES, in favour of the Neighbourhood Plan.

The Plan will now be presented to our Executive Committee on 9 July 2024 for consideration and to be formally 'made' (adopted).  Once 'made' the plan will become a Development Plan Document, which must be considered alongside our Local Plan in all planning related matters affecting the Teignmouth Parish area.
