We are responsible for maintaining street name plates in Teignbridge and do our best to ensure that officially named streets are adequately signed.

With new developments, the developers are legally responsible for the installation of and the adequate provision of street signs around their development in accordance with the relevant regulations and district council design requirements.

We request that’s signs are installed before any properties on that street are occupied.

Street name signs should be erected at the entrance to named streets and where appropriate, information regarding access to other streets may be included.
