We are keen to provide as much information on recycling as possible, and are sometimes able to attend and give presentations at schools, scouts and brownie clubs, and other non-profit groups.

Funding

There are several companies and organisations that provide funding for schools for recycling and composting, please see Devon county councils schools funding page.

Educational resources

Devon recycling's Kids Zone is specifically designed to make reducing, reusing and recycling waste understandable and fun. There is also a section for teachers which includes links to various resources for teachers.

Site visits

The energy from waste plant in Plymouth, where Teignbridge's general waste is sent for disposal, welcomes schools and community groups for educational site visits. Please see their website for further information.
