Regeneration projects arising from Parish and town plans are implemented by a variety of different groups and organisations.
In the case of proposals agreed to under the Market and Coastal Town's Initiative for both Dawlish and Teignmouth, the project details are included in their Strategic Action Plans and will be implemented by both town's regeneration groups with the support of agencies such as the Teignbridge District, Dawlish or Teignmouth Town Councils or Devon County Council. Other agencies such as the South West Regional Development Agency may also be involved.
Two of the towns within Teignbridge - Dawlish and Teignmouth, have produced Strategic Action Plans detailing their regeneration projects.
The Dawlish Community Trust has produced the Dawlish Area Community Strategic Plan 2005 to 2015, whilst the Teignmouth Development Trust has produced a document entitled Tomorrow's Teignmouth. Both documents set out in considerable detail information about the towns following their public consultation exercise and the priorities for future projects to address those concerns. They can be accessed using the links to the right of this page.
Both the Dawlish Community Trust and the Teignmouth Development Trust are being supported in their work by the District & County Councils together with Dawlish & Teignmouth Councils.

Bulking Station and Forde Road Depot
The Bulking Station, located on Brunel Industrial Estate, adjacent to the Councils' offices and the public Recycling Centre site, is the collection point for the district's recyclable waste. Access to the site is shared between the Bulking Station and the Recycling Centre site, with members of the public using this road on a daily basis. The proposed development seeks to expand the bulking station in size. The extension of the site will incorporate the existing access road into Devon County Council's Recycling Centre site and part of Teignbridge District Council offices' car park. A new service road will be provided, with TDC's car parking layout being readjusted to suit.
