To store, prepare, distribute or sell food on premises you need to be registered with your local authority. Premises include restaurants, cafes, hotels, shops, canteens, market stalls, mobile catering vans and food delivery vans.

To register your food business online,  all you need to do is click on the Do it Online button.

Some manufacturers handling products of animal origin may need to be approved by the local authority.

Amending a Current Food Business Establishment Registration Form

Once you have registered your food business you only need to notify your local authority of a change of proprietor, if the nature of the business changes, or if there is a change of address for the business.
