6. Holcombe Beach

Holcombe Beach is a short walk from the village of Holcombe, accessed down a steep road called Smugglers Lane, which is also accessible by car.

What's on offer?

  • limited free parking is available
  • beach is accessible down some steep steps off the sea wall
  • beach is tidal, you can walk along the beach at low tide to Teignmouth along the seawall

Dogs

  • dogs are allowed on this beach all year round 

Be aware

  • bathing water quality is affected by a storm overflow
