You will have exclusive use of the main house for your big day and there are several rooms you can choose to hold your wedding ceremony.

From the main grand entrance you will walk straight into the Great Hall.

The Great Hall

Situated on the ground floor, this exquisite room has wooden panelled walls and beautiful ornate carved doorways. Centre stage is the original large stone fireplace, which can be lit during the winter months. This grand room provides the perfect setting for serving champagne and canapés to you and your guests after the ceremony. The room can hold up to 50 people.

The Parlour

Leading on from the Great Hall is The Parlour, a more intimate room with ornate pillars and gorgeous views overlooking the beautiful grounds. This cosy room offers a more relaxed atmosphere to exchange your vows in, with its original fireplace and large comfy chairs. This room can seat up to 15 people.

King Charles Room

Located on the first floor, the King Charles room is said to have been bed chamber for King Charles 1.  You and your guests will arrive via the magnificent staircase, leading from the Great Hall. This versatile room holds 35 seated guests and can be set up in a variety of styles depending on your requirements, all details can be discussed with our wedding co-ordinator when viewing. 

Long Room

Adjacent to the King Charles room is the Long Room. This impressive room has high vaulted ceilings and elegant chandeliers. It is the largest of our function rooms, seating up to 65 guests and is a stunning room to hold your ceremony. For larger groups, the doors leading into the King Charles room can be opened up to accommodate more guests. Please note chair covers are not provided but happy for you to obtain should you wish to.
