Waste and recycling collections

We are currently experiencing delays on some of our rounds. If the whole street has been missed we will be aware and will return as soon as possible. Please leave the bins/containers out for collection.

Management of Council Trees

4. Who do I contact about dangerous trees?

If you suspect a Council owned tree is dangerous then please contact the Council via email greenspaces@teignbridge.gov.uk or ring 01626 361101. In emergencies only, ring 01395 516854.

The responsibility of a tree is with the landowner of the land where the tree is rooted. The local authority is not responsible for trees on private land or highways trees.

A tree may not be dangerous just because it is close to properties. We would need strong evidence to consider a tree as dangerous.
