At low tide waders can been seen feeding on the vast mudflats and in summer migrant Reed and Sedge warbler can be heard in the reedbed nearby. Within 2 hours either side of low tide, you can take a peaceful stroll along the foreshore following the old granite trail on the Templer Way.
