Waste and recycling collections

We are currently experiencing delays on a number of refuse, recycling and garden waste rounds. If the whole street has been missed we will be aware and will return as soon as possible. Please leave the bins/containers out for collection.

4. Bakers Park, Newton Abbot

Bakers Park is a large open space on the outskirts of Newton Abbot and is a great place for an array of recreational activities. There's plenty of room for ball games, excluding golf, and four free tennis courts where you can just turn up and play.

Location

Bakers Park, Newton Abbot, TQ12 1LP

Facilities

  • children's play area
  • tennis courts (free)
  • car park (free)
  • football pitches
  • footpath to town centre

Accessibility

The majority of the Bakers Park is flat; however the area running alongside the Totnes Road is steeply banked with access only via steps or the main entrance road. If using the latter be aware that fast moving traffic may pull in from Totnes Road.
