The electoral register

The electoral register lists the names and addresses of everyone who is registered to vote in public elections and referenda.
Open register

The open register is an extract of the electoral register, but is not used for elections. It is freely available and can be bought by any person, company or organisation.
The annual canvass

The aim of the canvass is to make sure the electoral register is up to date and that everyone who is entitled to vote in elections is able to do so.
